Announcing our First On-line Auction for the Gyuto Monastery Library Fundraising Appeal!
We are commencing the first of a series of short and sweet “on-line auctions” in support of our Gyuto Library Fundraising Appeal.
There are six wonderful items to choose from in our first on-line auction ranging in Reserve price from a modest $10.00 to $400.00 - these Reserve prices are the starting point for bidding.
The campaign will run for one month (and if successful we will do another in a few months).
You can browse through the items and share images with family and friends to support us to arrive at the highest price (it’s for a wonderful cause).
Have a bit of fun with it and put in an offer and encourage others to do the same
- lets make it awesome! Ideally, we would love to double or more the reserve price!!!
The auction is open NOW ( https://airauctioneer.com/gyuto-library-appeal-on-line-auction/public) for you to check out our first crop of auction items and place your bid(s); you can bid multiple times and for multiple items.
The auction will close at midnight Eastern Standard Time on Friday 27th September 2024 at 10pm after which the winning bidders will be notified and sent or arranged to collect their item(s).
Please share in this wonderful opportunity we have to raise much needed funds for our beloved Gyuto Monastery Library and provide merit and virtue for your actions, your loved ones and all living beings – this is a wonderful chance for everyone to increase their merit and sow the seeds of success for dharma practice and further instill the mind of enlightenment.
As our beloved Lama Tendar says:
“By contributing to the Gyuto Library Fundraising Appeal you are personally supporting the protection, dissemination and study of sacred Buddhist literature - texts that will benefit thousands of people for centuries to come and which has the potential to enlighten all sentient beings bringing freedom from suffering and ultimate happiness.”
The Venerable Lama Tendar - Director of The Shantideva Buddhist Foundation P/L and The
Medicine Buddha Tantrayana Meditation Centre.
