Dear Sangha and Friends,

We are delighted to announce that upon enthusiastic requests from students, Lama Tendar is kindly offering to lead a 3-week Guyhasamaja retreat this August. This is a wonderful opportunity for those with Guyhasamaja empowerment to advance their practice towards attaining enlightenment. Upon receiving empowerment, retreat is the way to go for cultivating transcendental wisdom and the Bodhicitta mind.

Without being led by Lama Tendar, it would be impossible for us to accomplish such a retreat.

The retreat involves an authentic Lama to:

1. Prepare for the retreat: Make Torma for the retreat, bless the venue, set protective boundary, make pre-retreat offerings, bless meditation seats, and help students to arrange retreat implements;

2. Lead the actual retreat: lead the sadhana chanting, give instructions on visualisation and mantra chanting during the retreat; and

3.Perform rituals at conclusion: including dissolution and a fire puja after the retreat.

We are grateful to have a Lama who could help us with all these.

The retreat itself is openonlyto those who have got Guyhasamaja empowerment.

Those who can not participate directly in the retreat can take this opportunity to accumulate great merits by sponsoring this retreat in various ways:

2. Sponsor meals, butter lamps, flowers, etc.

Special dedications will be made to sponsors and their families during each day’s practice of this powerful retreat.

To help the participants prepare for the retreat, Lama Tendar will give teachings on instructions about the Guyhasamaja Self-Generation in the months leading to the retreat. Dates are to be announced.
