Lama Tsongkhapa Day, or Ganden Ngamchoe, is a celebration of the anniversary of Lama Tsongkhapa’s parinirvana (passing into Nirvana). 

It is celebrated on the 25th day of the 10th month on the Tibetan calendar. This year Ganden Ngamchoe falls on Sunday 18th December 2022.

There are many practices we can do to celebrate and create merit on this special day. Lama Tendar will lead the chanting of Guru Yoga and we will chant “Mig Tse Ma” as we rejoice in Lama Tsongkapa’s great deeds.
