Sustain your effort of mandala painting by attending monthly classes and advance your practice by receiving instructions from qualified Vajra Master - Lama Tendar; so that you are able to continue your work at home. This is a great opportunity to cultivate virtuous inner qualities and share a day with like minded people.

In these classes, students work towards completing a full mandala,  though its design is formalised, each completed mandala reflects the personal spiritual evolution of the individual making it. The process does require an ongoing commitment from both student and teacher, ultimately it is a fulfilling personal journey of spiritual growth and self-discipline.

New students are welcome to attend and begin the journey by drawing or painting smaller Buddhist symbols. All are welcome. No artistic background is required. Everyone is a perfect artist for painting Buddhist mandala. 

Lama Tendar will guide you step by step from beginning to completion. This is the supreme way to generate peace in the world.

A list of suggested art materials is available on the Mandala page. Paper can be purchased from the centre in large and medium sizes, please let us know in advance if you like to have this available.

You are invited to bring a plate of food to share for lunch or tea breaks with the class, a lunch break is taken between 1 - 2 pm.

Tea & Coffee Facilities are available in the Medicine Buddha Centre kitchenette.

Medicine Buddha Centre Credit Policy

At Medicine Buddha Centre, we understand that plans can change.

If you can’t attend an event or course, we offer a credit equal to the amount paid, valid for six months.

This credit can be used for events, courses, shop purchases, or donations.

To request a credit, please contact us at least 48 hours before an event or within two weeks for courses.

All requests are subject to approval.
