Upon requests from students, Lama Tendar will give Yamantaka initiation and teaching over three days in October.

Yamantaka is the manifestation of Manjushri, the Wisdom Buddha. It is a very precious highest yoga tantra practice. Through this practice practitioners can transform the ordinary process of death, bardo and rebirth into opportunities of born into the three Buddha bodies - wisdom truth body, enjoyment body and emanation body. It is thus a path of transcending the root cause of the sufferings in samsara, and attaining the true happiness of full enlightenment.

Yamantaka is a fully enlightened hero with a purpose of freeing all sentient beings from the repeated suffering of birth, ageing, sickness and death. It is a powerful method for those aspired to bring true happiness to all loved ones. It is especially powerful in subduing ignorance, attachment, and anger, and thus purify strong negative habits for the practitioners and those connected to them. It is also a supreme way of accumulating merits because Yamantaka practice is a practical path of cultivating great compassion and transcendental wisdom, leading to the realisation of ultimate Bodhichitta.

During the event, Lama Tendar will teach introduction to preliminary practice for Yamantaka initiation; teach the short Sadhana of Yamantaka self generation; and perform the ceremony of Yamantaka initiation.
