In response to Sangha request, Lama Tendar has kindly offered this precious empowerment and teaching of Yamantaka. The Yamantaka empowerment is a secret mantra empowerment of the highest class known as Highest Yoga Tantra.

During the retreat Lama Tendar will teach theory and practice of generation-stage in the context of Yamantaka practice. 

Yamantaka practice is very important for practitioners in removing obstacles so as to attain full enlightenment.  Yamantaka is the wrathful manifestation of Manjushri who protects practitioners from mental afflictions and obscuration.

To benefit from the protection, one needs to receive blessings from Yamantaka initiation. Once having received the blessings, it is easier for practitioners to cultivate compassion and wisdom for the benefit of all sentient beings.
