Yamantaka Retreat

Contribution : $1500 (15 days) plus accommodation ($60/night) which includes 3 meals a day. 

At the request of our students and Sangha, Lama Tendar will be conducting our first ever Yamantaka Retreat in January 2023. Having just returned from receiving initiations and teachings in South India, Lama Tendar felt the need to undertake this retreat for Yamantaka.

The retreat will be held at our centre and retreatants will be required to reside at the centre for the duration of the retreat for the purpose of doing the retreat. 

There will be requirements and commitments in order to attend the retreat. Students are required to have received the Yamantaka initiation from a qualified Teacher and commitments will be outlined by Lama Tendar during the retreat.

We hope as many people as possible will take up this rare and precious opportunity to attend this retreat in order to benefit themselves and as many sentient beings as possible in this and many lifetimes to come.

Contribution : $1500 (15 days) plus accommodation ($60/night) which includes 3 meals a day. 

This includes the cost of hired staff to cook and clean for the retreat, plus the cost of the Fire puja which includes the cost of ingredients and offerings to additional monks over 2 days.

Details:

• This retreat will not be available on Zoom
• Retreatants will be required to stay at the centre for the purpose of doing the retreat and will generally not be allowed to come and go from the centre, visitation will be limited.
• Three meals a day and accomodation will be provided 
• The day will comence from 5 AM with practice starting early (6AM) and continuting throughout the day and possibly into the evening.
• If you are travelling consider including an extra day for Friday the 6th and Sunday the 22nd, as retreat activities may extend into the Sunday.
