New Yamantaka, Guhyasamaja, & Chakrasamvara Statues !
Dear Sangha and friends,
We are excited to let you know that whilst in Nepal, Lama Tendar has managed to find the right statue of Yamantaka but also statues of Guhyasamaja and Chakrasamvara. We were fortunate enough to have found statues of these three highest yoga tantric deities of Guhyasamaja, Yamantaka and Chakrasamvara, which constitute the heart practice for Lama Tendar and for the Centre.
It is very rare to be able to find a full set of highest yoga tantra statues such as these, at a Buddhist Centre, we could very well be the first in Australia, and this also coincides with our group going to South India later in September to receive initiation of these three highest yoga tantric deities. Once received, we must be able to visualise the deities in great detail, so by having these three statues at our Centre will greatly benefit the students at our Centre and the whole of Australia in the long term.
We thank everyone for their contributions towards the statues, in particular to Ken Mills, who was the main sponsor. All the funds will not only go towards the purchase of the statues, but they will be used to cover the cost of shipping and filling them with prayers and sponsoring monks to consecrate them later. Hence, we continue to accept donations for the statues.
Making an offering for a statue at a monastery or Buddhist Centre accumulates an incredible amount of pure merit for yourself or for a loved one whether living or deceased. Lama Tendar would like to share the merit with everyone so even a small contribution will benefit yourself and others. Lama Tendar does not want you to miss out on this opportunity.
