Events, Course and Retreat tickets are generally not refundable for cash.
A full credit will be offered to any future event to the same value for a period of 24 months if adequate notice is given.
48 hours notice is required for cancellations or notice of non-attendance in advance.
A credit or refund may not be offered for non-attendance where no notice was given prior.
If you have circumstances that arise that are urgent, unforeseen or unavoidable, contact the Centre to discuss your individual situation.
We certainly understand that situations arise for participants and are willing to work with individuals to find a solution However, last minute cancellations and non attendance can impact the delivery of events.

Full day, multi day or long retreats are usually catered with a delicious cooked lunch. We provide vegetarian options and can cater to your individual dietary needs, just let us know in advance. Check the event listing on the website to see if lunch is provided or get in contact to confirm.
For most of our regular events we invite participants to bring a plate of food or snack to share for morning or afternoon tea. This is a great way to get to know others and enjoy a chat over a cup of tea and snack together
The Medicine Buddha Centre has a small kitchen located near the Ghompa with tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, microwave and oven available to prepare or re-heat food.
Many students like to bring a notebook and pen, a drink bottle and items that aid comfort; such as a shawl or meditation blanket. Chairs are available and participants are not required to sit on the floor.
We have printed prayer books available at the Centre, though you can also access these via a phone, ipad or laptop if you prefer. The prayer books can be accessed via the downloads page on the MBC website.
We invite participants to being an item or food or drink to share for morning and afternoon tea, though this is totally optional. Kitchen facilities are available for refreshments.
If attending a Sound Bath Healing Meditation - we recommend you bring your own yoga mat and a warm blanket. Mats and cushions are also available at the Centre.
We ask that visitors remove their shoes before entering the Ghompa, you may like to bring a pair of slippers, house shoes or fresh socks to wear. Clean bare feet are also acceptable.
