Bardo Prayers and Special Rites for Ani Drolma

Bardo Prayers and Special Rites

Bardo Prayers and special Rites for our late resident nun, Ani Drolma who passed away in December 2025.

These prayers will be performed on 27 June 2026, exactly six months after her passing, in full accordance with her explicit final wishes. 🙏

Ani Drolma was deeply respected for her kindness, sincerity, and steady commitment to the Dharma. Over many years as a student of Lama Tendar, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to study, practice, pilgrimage, retreat, and mantra recitation, always with a sincere wish to benefit others. Those who met her knew her as someone of warmth, humility, and genuine compassion.

Before taking ordination, she also spent many years guiding and supporting others through teaching, coaching, mentoring, and leadership development. In this way, her life consistently expressed care for others, both in the worldly sphere and on the spiritual path. Her wisdom was not merely intellectual, but grounded in experience, service, and inner transformation.

As our resident nun, Ani Drolma brought a quiet strength and a compassionate presence to the Centre. Held in accordance with her final wishes, this prayer day is also an expression of deep gratitude for her devoted practice, her living example of Dharma, and the benefit she offered to countless sentient beings. 🕯️
